R-E Menswear

Context:

R-E is a contemporary menswear brand whose clothing is based on authentic British Military references, inspired by findings from the Imperial War Museum archives, of which the brand had direct access to visit and reference.

I supported Waste Studio with collection photoshoots, retouching photography and designing social media content, email and web assets. We developed an authentic visual language which told the story of the brand with interesting historical ephemera from the IWM archives. 

This lead to R-E having an authentic brand presence with a solid base of design research to pull from, highlighting it’s unique selling point of having access to the IWM archives. It allowed their customers to engage with their historically rich clothing collections on a deeper level and added a layer of intrigue to each garment when given a backstory on it’s history.
